Name: Drosera capensis narrow leaf (sunflower)
Size: 6 cm +
Age: 1 year +
Lifespan: 8–10 years, sometimes more
Country of origin: grown in the Czech Republic
Growing method: from seed
Location: Origin: South Africa
Plant color: dull green, ends slightly colored red
Flower color: pink to purple
Starts to bloom: in 1–2 years
Soil composition: peat and silica sand in a ratio of 3:1
Vegetation: prefers acidic and poor sandy, peaty and swampy soils
Growing: Flower pots should stand in a bowl with at least 1 - 2 cm of water. After they run out of water, we must top it up immediately. Drying out the soil will kill the carnivorous plant. They can withstand temperatures from 5-40 degrees Celsius. DO NOT DEWATER, I recommend water, either settled or rainwater. Always check the plant to see if dew points (droplets) form - this is how it catches food. If this does not happen, try changing the location or cut a PET bottle (in 1/3) and make a small greenhouse for it to create humidity.
fertilization: they get it from the food they catch
chemical treatment: Mospilan 20 sp / Vertimec 1.8 SC
information: I send without soil and flower pots with a wet paper towel in which the roots are wrapped for sufficient humidity. Carnivores do not need nutritious soil for their life, peat, which is acidic and poor in nutrients, and food that they catch themselves are enough
